Well it's my first 4th of July away from family and I wasn't going to do anything but Sonya invited us over and I am glad I went because the kids had fun we kept up our 4th of July tradition that my mom started. Sonya turned on the sprinkler and the kids ran around getting wet the only thing different here was it wasn't that hot out so they didn't last long. Pat made a comment as we were leaving he said this was the coldest 4th of July I ever remember. My kids are used to sweltering heat on the 4th so the hose and water fights always felt good. We had a good time and as I was leaving the sun setting caught my eye I have never seen anything like this the rays usually go downward position as in this shot they go up. Something told me to just pull over and snap the picture it felt like my dad was with me pulling me closer to where I finally stopped and snapped a shot, something he usually did. I also took a few shots of the kids. The child on the blue atv is Petey, Sonya's little boy he loves to play with Maria. The kids had a blast and Sonya and I enjoyed hanging out.
